With the countdown to Christmas already on, the shop shelves are already full of Christmas decorations ready for you to explore with one of our amazing Christmas day trips.

Buxton & Judith Mary Christmas Canal Cruise Day Trip

When we did this trip in May of this year, we didn’t realise how popular it would be. It is safe to say it has been one of our most in-demand day trips to date.

Therefore, when Suzy (owner of the Judith Mary) mentioned the Christmas Canal Cruise we snapped up the chance to book again.

You will spend the morning in Buxton before heading to the canal cruise. The cruise is due to depart at 2pm. You will be treated to a 2-hour long cruise along the beautiful Upper Peak Forest Canal, situated in Whaley Bridge. Whilst on the cruise you will get Hot Roast Turkey Sandwiches served with Roast Potatoes, Stuffing and Pigs in Blankets, followed by Mince Pies and Cream for Dessert.

Christmas at the Bridges Shopping Centre Day Trip

The Bridges Shopping Centre in Sunderland has over 90 shops, covering the best of the high street names as well as some more specialised stores. What better place to go to make a start on your Christmas shopping.

Mince Pies & Coffee at Leighton Hall & Bay View Garden Centre Day Trip

Deck the Halls! You will arrive at Leighton Hall in style on one of our executive luxury coaches. You will be greeted by the staff at Leighton Hall on your arrival with coffee and mince pies in front of a roaring open fire. You will then have a tour of Leighton Hall all dressed for Christmas.

After the tour it is only a short journey to Bay View Garden Centre, for free time in their Christmas Shop, plant area and restaurant, with stunning views over Morecambe Bay.

Liverpool Christmas Market Day Trip

The Liverpool Christmas market will have an array of stalls selling Christmas gifts, personalised decorations, arts and crafts goodies, photo prints, jewellery and stocking fillers. It will also have a small selection of stands selling food ranging from the Yorkshire Pudding Wrap Stall, the traditional swing grill selling a selection of sausages and burgers to vegan stalls.

There is also the big wheel and snow slide in Santa’s village to keep the family amused and a selection of bars including the tipi bar, ski bar, windmill bar and the new Bavarian bar where you can try a selection of German beers and hot cider.

Christmas at Beamish Day Trip

York Christmas Market Day Trips

You don’t get more festive than the St Nicholas’ Fair, York’s Christmas Market. Running all the way along Parliament Street right down to St Sampson’s Square. There are also stalls within the Shambles Market and in Coppergate. Parliament Street is tree-lined and all of the trees are festooned with Christmas lights, giving a pretty twinkling backdrop to the wooden Alpine chalet-type market stalls. York also attracts lots of delicious food stalls, selling ranges of cheeses, chutneys and chilli jam! There are takeaway vendors too and the smells as you peruse the stalls is heavenly!

Birmingham’s Authentic Christmas Market Day Trip 2022 & Primark

Birmingham comes alive every winter with the arrival of the Market, a clear sign that Christmas is just around the corner. The stalls on Victoria Square and along New Street offer something for everyone.

The largest authentic German Christmas market outside of Germany or Austria Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market Day Trips offers a large range of traditional goods and gifts and a selection of tempting food and drink. Pretzels, schnitzels, bratwursts, and roasted almonds will tempt your tastebuds, all of which can be washed down with gluhwein, weissbier (wheat beer), or tasty hot chocolate.

Lincoln Traditional Christmas Market Day Trip

Visitors are welcomed to this beautiful city and the traditional Christmas Market day trips, where you will enjoy cultural entertainment and stroll around over 150 stalls nestled within the medieval square and surrounding area. A contemporary cathedral city with over 2,000 years of history, Lincoln is the perfect place to visit over the festive period. Take a trip back through time and stroll along the cobbles the cultural quarter of the city. Day Trip to the UK’s biggest Christmas Market in Manchester

The original & biggest Christmas market in the country, Manchester Christmas Markets is the ideal destination for a festive outing. Some 300 beautifully crafted stalls offer mouth-watering international food, drinks and finely crafted Yuletide gifts in the heart of the buzzing city centre.

Spread across 10 individual sites – each with distinctive own distinctive character – Manchester Christmas Markets has something to offer every festive visitor.

This year the market will also introduce a designated family site for the first time with fun rides and entertainment throughout the season, including: LED light performers, magicians and street theatre. All with spectacular views of the Manchester Cathedral and National Football Museum.

Beverley Magical Christmas Shopper Wonderland Day Trip

Each year, on the second Sunday in December, the centre of Beverley is transformed into a magical Christmas shopper’s wonderland, as over 110 stalls brimming with gorgeous Christmas gifts and local treats take over the historic market town.

This year, the festival takes place on Sunday 11th December from 10am to 4pm and will open when the Christmas Parade sets off from Wednesday Market to Saturday Market. There will be four Traditional Victorian Christmas Markets nestled within Saturday Market, Wednesday Market, North Bar Within and Flemingate Shopping Centre. Soak up the sights, smells and sounds as you wander around the markets and enjoy a range of festive family entertainment including live music, dancing, carols and more. There will be lots to keep the kids entertained with face painting, traditional Victorian fairground rides and live entertainment, music, and dancing.

Chester Historical Christmas Market Day trips

A magical Christmas all wrapped up! Get the festive feeling this winter and spoil yourself at Chester Christmas Market. A handmade, historical, magical experience awaits you with 70 traders situated in the square around the town hall.
