This blog is about our coach travel services and the 7 benefits of travelling by coach, but first . . . .
Wow! What a busy year.
Well, what can we say, except a big thank you to all our customers old and new!
We always knew we would come back strong from the pandemic, but you guys have definitely kept us busy. We love taking all our regular groups on days out, and we love hearing from new customers.
Now, let’s dive and talk a little bit about travelling by coach and what advantages it has to offer.
1. Coach travel is hassle-free
There’s no denying that driving long distances, especially to places we’ve never visited before, can be stressful. Whether it’s getting stuck in traffic jams or trying to navigate your way around a new area, we have all been there before.
However, when travelling by coach, you are able to sit back, relax, and let one of our drivers do all the hard work.
Coach travel is very relaxing – you eliminate the worry and stress and leave it in the very capable hands of our experienced and knowledgeable drivers.
2. Using coach travel is a cheaper
Coach travel is one of the most cost-effective ways to travel! This is especially true for commuters who face the cost of raising rail ticket prices, whilst ensuring you get the comfort of your own seat. Even if you have access to your own car, when you calculate the price of petrol, tax, service fees and parking it all adds up to be a rather costly way to travel.
When travelling by coach you only make one payment, with the cost of the above shared between you and your passengers. Of course, prices vary depending on the time you travel and the distance you’re travelling.
3. Travelling by coach is comfy
By far one of the most beneficial reasons to travel by coach is the level of comfort you can experience. Coach travel far outweighs the comfort of train and bus travel.
Our Executive coaches are very spacious, well-maintained, and offer air-conditioning for a relaxing comfortable journey. Most of our coaches also come with on-board drinks facilities, a W/C, and on some, a TV/DVD player – offering everything you need for great travel experience.
4. Coach travel saves on car parking
When driving your car, especially into a city, how often do you struggle to find a parking space?
A huge advantage of coach travel is that it completely eliminates the need to worry about parking. Most cities in the UK have great coach drop-off bays, many located close to all the local amenities, allowing you to make the most out of your time there.
5. Convenient pick-up locations
With coach travel, most companies offer convenient pick-up locations located close to home.
For those going on a coach holiday, we arrange home pickups or minibus travel from your home to the coach pick-up location, meaning you can forget all worries about how to get to the vehicle with your suitcases.
6. Seeing more of what the UK has to offer by going by coach
If the past few years has taught us anything, it’s that there’s so much to see and do in the UK – which many of us haven’t even scratched the surface of.
We plan a whole host of exciting itineraries for customers, including UK coach holidays & trips to picturesque locations such as Torquay, Weymouth & Skegness to name a few!
If you want to discover more about the UK and visit some beautiful places without the hassle of needing to research and plan routes – then coach travel sounds like the perfect solution for you!
7. Reducing the impact on the environment
Over the past few years, there has been lots of talk about the environmental impact our growing population is having on the planet, with coach travel being named as one of the best transport solutions.
A coach may be a large vehicle, but it has the ability to carry a large haul of passengers. If all those passengers had their own cars and travelled individually, there would be a significant increase in their carbon footprint.
All our coaches are fitted with Euro6 engines and are fully compliant with the European Union’s low emission requirements. We’re committed to reducing our environmental impact on the countryside.
